By centralizing communication channels and simplifying previously complex administrative procedures, companies entering Jeju can now receive the necessary support and aftercare services more efficiently.

Raising the Investment Target from KRW 200 Billion to 1 Trillion
The One-Stop Business Support Council, chaired by the governor, comprises experts from eight sectors, including tourism development, factory establishment, infrastructure support, and innovative industries. The council plans to hold regular meetings to improve policies, laws, and systems, and to strengthen industrial competitiveness by fostering new industry sectors. At the launch ceremony, Governor Oh Younghun noted, “With the current scale of investment agreements at around KRW 200 billion, we aim to increase this to KRW 1 trillion as quickly as possible. I believe that if the private sector and relevant organizations collaborate through the One-Stop Business Support Council, we can achieve significant outcomes. I urge each organization to develop cooperative strategies, as this effort is linked to all of Jeju’s initiatives, including fostering publicly listed companies and promoting the workation business.”
On July 9, the Provincial Office established the One-Stop Business Support Team to manage on-site operations. This team will serve as the dedicated communication channel, providing various administrative services essential for early company settlement. They will also focus on aftercare by managing permits and reports, conducting regular company visits, and addressing any issues that arise. Kim In-young, Director of Jeju’s Economic Vitality Bureau, emphasized, “Our goal is to make Jeju an even more business-friendly environment by actively utilizing this system. We will continue to provide robust support to help more companies thrive.”
